Can We Help ?

The EDGE Partnership of Schools is offering small group and individual coaching and mentoring CPD themes to other schools and colleges. Our themes, we believe, are very different and wholly focussed on enabling and supporting colleagues from outside the Partnership. We believe fundamentally in diffusing good practice and in building relationships

Our specialised themes will all be delivered by members of the Senior Leadership Teams in EDGE schools.

The EDGE Partnership offers schools,colleges and those working with young people nationally:

1. Small group and individual coaching and mentoring CPD themes
2. CPD Conferences on selected themes for 2010

We hope the themes will be the basis of a relationship between the EDGE Partnership and schools from across the country. Our plan for the coming three years is to deliver a full suite of themes to cover all subject and school areas and issues.

CPD: Professional Development Days and Courses 2010

These are 1 day conferences, led by the senior teams from The Edge Schools and will be held in school:

• Leadership in Special Education
• Partnership working - strength and success from schools working together
• Multi agency working - making it work and reaping the benefits
• Leading change towards success in challenging circumstances - lessons from the front line

The themes will deal with issues which are topical and current in schools both locally and nationally and cover subjects such as:

• Senior Management and Leadership
• Headship
• Social cohesion
• Schools operating in challenging circumstances
• Curriculum development
• Partnership working
• On going SLT coaching and mentoring
• Special Schools and education
• Turning around failing schools
• Leading Teaching and Learning

The EDGE Partnership portfolio of CPD themes will be developed and added to over time, aiming to cover contemporary issues related to education in secondary schools and will always be delivered on an individual basis, tailored to the needs of participants.

All profits from the delivery of EDGE Partnership small group and individual coaching and mentoring CPD themes will be invested in the EDGE registered charity for the benefit of young people within the EDGE community.
