Hunters Hill Technology College is a Residential Special School for a mixed population of children, aged 11 - 16yrs, with SEBD. Currently the school provides for a far more challenging and complex mix which includes, ASD, ADHD, Tourettes and Dyslexia. It has a capacity for 75 residents and 35 day pupils.
Hunters Hill is situated on a site of some 158 acres just over the City boundary in the Lickey Hills. It serves the whole of the City of Birmingham.
The facilities at the school include state of the art ICT infrastructure, including a fully functional VLE and Microsoft sponsorship. There are fully equipped specialist teaching areas including vocational skills as well as outdoor learning opportunities which challenge and engage.
The school has five residential facilities which are subject to annual OFSTED inspections. The School gained Specialist Status in 2006 and has recently been designated a High Performing Specialist School. Along with many awards it values the Ormiston Trusts Gold standard for Every Child Matters above all others.
