In 2008, the EDGE Partnership took the decision to develop a charitable wing to further its work within south west Birmingham and engage more sustainably with the local communities. As part of this development, we decided to form a social enterprise company and as one of its activities to offer small group and individual coaching and mentoring CPD themes outside of the partnership. Thus, a not for profit company has been formed and we were granted charitable status in 2009 for our community work (registered charity no. 1132158). The idea of the company and charity is that the profit from the EDGE CPD enterprise will be invested in the charity and the funds distributed for the benefit of young people within the EDGE community. All Head Teachers are Trustees of the Charity, and the social enterprise is overseen by a Management Board.
Information regarding benefits provided by The EDGE Partnership will be detailed in the latest news
