Commitment to training and development

The EDGE is committed to CPD, both within the individual schools and as a partnership. There is much informal contact between the schools and their staff, also a partnership commitment to CPD which is led by our Partnership Co-ordinator, Clare Saunders.s

All the EDGE small group and individual coaching and mentoring themes have been developed in response to issues which have arisen within Partnership schools. Each course contains strategies which have proved to be effective in enabling teachers to deal with these issues and in so doing, increase their professional development.

CPD is at the core of successful teaching and managementin all the EDGE Partnership schools. All EDGE SLT members are experienced and competent tutors, with a knowledgeable and empathetic approach.
