Turves Green Boys School has a population of approximately 650 pupils and serves a predominately white working class area in south Birmingham. The School became a Technology College in 1995 and has been successful in retaining that status since. Current achievement levels are 48% 5 A* -C with English and Maths and 65% overall. The school has successfully delivered the Specialist Diploma in Engineering and continues to be a prominent member of the Edge and SWAN collegiates. FSM is 36% of the school population while 24% of pupils have SEN. However, we pride ourselves on curriculum innovation and inclusion.
