Welcome To The Edge Partnership

Sara was Headteacher for 18 years and has taught in several different parts of the country. She was Chair of the Secondary Heads Forum for 3 years. She is the current Chair of the EDGE Partnership and has a wealth of experience to offer, having been instrumental in transforming TGGS into a high achieving school.

May I offer a very warm welcome to the website for the EDGE Partnership of Schools in Birmingham? We are a partnership of ten schools who, whilst retaining our individual identities and spirit, have moved closer together over the past five years to form what we think is a highly effective, energetic, mutualistic and positive partnership. We all believe that we can take strength and support from each other, for the benefit of our pupils and the communities in which we work.

As part of the ongoing development of the partnership, we have established a registered Charity to benefit our young people, and their families, and also a commercial arm to the partnership. In the latter, we aim to develop relationships with schools and colleges by offering to spread the good practice and innovation we believe we have within the partnership. The income from this social enterprise will be used by our charity to fund more activities and support for the communities and young people with which we work.
